The young lady at the counter was excellent very polite very informative she knew the menu and explained it so well.. but as far as the food I'm not saying it was the best and I'm not saying it was the worst you just have to try for yourself.
HORRIBLE . NAASSSTTTYYYY!!!! Had smothered chicken with yams and dressing. My husband had smothered chicken with Mac n cheese and cabbage. Cornbread was hard and dry. Dressing broke apart like clumps of bread crumbs. Yams definitely came out the can. Cabbage was salty. Chicken gravy was thick clumpy and old. No soul food aroma in the building. Kitchen was dirty. Literally made me gag while eating. Had to be wrong timing to go (round 5) cause the Carnegie store served us pretty much leftover take out from two weeks ago. A waste of drive , time, & money !!! Don’t recommend to anyone . P.s. didn’t have pictures. Left that nasty food right at the table.
Went to Angie's yesterday and got a western style ribs with Mac and greens. I was really craving some BBQ. Got my meal home thinking I was gonna eat good and it was the worst ever. So dissatisfied and disappointed. The Mac had no flavor at all the greens had cabbage in them with no flavor and the meat was tasteless and seemed old I have stopped running to the bathroom. The worst soul food I have ever had. Angie use to be the best in the city. Not anymore. I have a Togo carton full of garbage. the worst experience ever I spent 33.00 for two dinners I can't even eat. Thanks Angie's for trash.... Smh...
You can't beat this spot for soul food believe that
I'll definitely recommend the western style ribs combo
Husband brought take out dinner. Pork chops and collards sooo salty. I guess that was the seasoning. Sweet potato pie a little to done. Yuk.Had to wait an hour for food. Truly left me and husband unsatisfied.
Corn muffin wasn’t sweet. The Mac and cheese was moist but needed more cheese. The fried pork chops were good.
