What a great dinner we had here! Everyone is so kind, and the food is amazing as are the cocktails. Everything was truly exceptional! Also, Taco Tuesday means $3 tacos that are delicious -- great for locals and worth the trip!
A hidden gem in uptown Manhattan, walking distance from the Mother Cabrini and The Cloisters, this restaurant offers modern takes in Spanish good with a good vibe and attentive service. A must visit for uptown locals and nearby tourists.
Food is decent and the vibe of the place is nice. We came in for dessert and drinks. We felt it was way too expensive for one slice of cake. What was a bit more disappointing, is that about half their drink menu was “unavailable” for whatever reason. No draft beers were available either. We paid $12 a slice and $6-10 for a drink which seemed a bit pricey.
They’re NEVER open. Says they’re open till 11 - I’ve stopped by at least four times after 9pm for a drink just to be told they’re closed. One time we even called ahead at 9pm to see if they were open - they said they were, we walked over 10 minutes later - nope! Closed. We’d like to support a local business but have officially stopped trying with this place.
Presentation was nice…. Food was a different story. Either incredibly salty or under seasoned. We ordered the burger, chofan and pescado. All were not good at all. Would not recommend their Food. Very disappointed.
The food is excellent delicious and presented elegantly.
