Came in once to try, came back 3 more times the same week. Tasting one item makes you want to see if everything else on the menu is just as good. All very generous portions, everything tasty . Some things you won't get by just looking at the menu: - Cuban sandwich comes with fries. - Try the empanadas with the pesto sauce. - Roasted pork is similar to carnitas. - Sauces are homemade. - When choosing between green or red hot sauce, the answer is "yes". Both add a considerable kick, but not to the point of being unenjoyable. - The side salad is lettuce, tomato, mint and avocado. SIDE salad. Avocado. Who does that?! - Always add maduros (fried yellow plantains). - Take your coffee how you like it, Café Dominicano. - The water filtration system is still there from the previous owner (Jes Coffee), so coffees are gonna taste great here and everything is cooked with super clean water. - If the owner is there and he's cooking, get the Cuban sandwich. He brings it to another level. Staff is super friendly, helpful if you don't know what to order, and up for a chat. Owner even reopened just to fry up some empanadas because I showed up after closing. Also, TACOS are coming soon for late-night eats.

I used to come here all the time when it was the younger couple working here they was always attentive to there customers making sure everything was good the food was always delicious and if you needed something and they didn't have it they made it since these are things that are on the menu. Now there's another lady working there that I haven't seen and ever since she's been there its like everything has been downhill the attitude in the atmosphere is horrible and when ever the young kid is there he don't seem to happy anymore so his attitude is rubbing off the wrong way he doesn't check on his customers no more, no more conversations the food isn't as great as it was the meat be dry most the time and the sweet platano be dry now when they don't have something they just don't have it I don't get offered to make it the lady that is in the shop always tells me this is what we have left and basically that's all you can get it was never like this usually what ever I ordered would be made without an issue now it's what's left over is what you get like this has been horrible service lately and I go here all the time and been promoting there buisness but now I'm not too happy with how things been

Great Ox Tail stew. Love their Beef, Cheese, Ham and Cheese Empanadas. Their Steak tacos and fish tacos are good too.
