Post COVID-19 the food industry is struggling, this is one of them where the food no longer taste as good as before. Sorry just being honest, I love this place and have traveled long distances for their food but at this time somethings missing within the ingredients and I can't pinpoint it.
There's a good reason this place is always packed. I've been going here for years now off and on. I can't give it a 5/5 though, because lately I've gotten sick off of the food, probably for the last few years I've tried it. It's gotten a lot greasier. Even dabbing most of it off with paper towels doesn't seem to help.
This was a good quick dinner following a day trip to Santa Cruz Island. We got a cup of chowder to start to warm up from the ferry ride. It was delicious. Between us, we had calamari, fish, and shrimp and chips. The fish was very mild with a big serving. The shrimp was the star, so perfectly breaded and crunchy. My mom really enjoyed her calamari as well. I’d go back if I was in the area. Kid-friendliness: Had lots of high chair options. The meals were big enough to split with my son.
We love Andria's. Every chance we get, either when we spend time in Ventura or just passing thru, we take the opportunity to stop and enjoy the seafood offerings.
The best sea food on the west coast .After your meal you can start a beautiful walk along the waters edge.
