When I worked in the area I ate at this restaurant all the time. On my way to a friend’s house I passed by (going to a party that had food) I stopped with my friend and spent 80$ for our food! Met the owner who’s has one of the best personalities…. Long story short as I write this review I’m on my way back. The food is very delicious

I always pass this place and say “I’m going to try them one day” and so, I finally did. I’ll start off saying that the service was great. The young man at the register had no problem explaining what everything was. I ordered oxtail and my husband ordered escovitch fish. I personally think the oxtail needed more flavor and for $30, I got maybe about 5 pieces that was full of fat…. So much fat. The fish was good but the escovitch was a little too sweet for my liking. The rice and peas…. Top tier! I’ll try their other meats though… everything looks amazing. I’ll get my oxtail fix elsewhere.

Excellent snapper and the greens was slamming

I must’ve came on a bad day, because the food tasted spoiled. very expensive, and was definitely not satisfied. I’ll give it a try one more time but not happy at my first visit.

The food was subpar. The fried fish was tough. The beef patty was hard. The cabbage had no seasoning. The rice was standard. There was extremely minimal seating. The lady serving the food seemed super annoyed that we had questions and acted like we were taking too long to decide. ( being the only ones in there I didn’t see the need to rush) Not at all what I’m used to from a Caribbean place.
