In Utica for Women's World Championship. OMG dinner was incredible. The homemade cavatelli was some of the best I've ever had, and I loved the Arancini as well! Thanks for a great dinner!

Intimate space with excellent menu and stellar service! Calamari was breaded perfectly and served with a nice spicy horseradish cocktail sauce. Fig prosciutto flatbread was delicious, hints of Gorgonzola coming through the balsamic glaze. Caesar salad perfectly dressed! And for dessert the bananas foster was outstanding!!!

Love the food here! I typically get the chicken riggies, along with the shrimp cocktail. When they offered the crepes for delivery, I would get that too! However, I've noticed this trend where it's nearly impossible to order takeout. This has happened on multiple occasions and more often within the last few months. I find that when it is open, and I do order, the order is immediately cancelled and only then is the takeout/delivery option unavailable for the rest of the night. Again, I love the food. I'm not going out to dinner alone, however, and it's consistently disappointing when you're craving the ever-so delicious Ancora riggies only to have your dinner plans pulled from you with no explanation.

While the food was good. Clean kitchen. Bartender recommended food but didn’t highlight the fact that it was spicy. He had the worst psoriasis, itched and picked with long dirty nails, shedding everywhere. Pants and shirt covered in dandruff Picking at his ears, scratching his head and touching things that would go into peoples drinks and on food plates. No he wasn’t washing his hands. I didn’t order a second drink. Hard to eat what I ordered.

Amazing place right in the heart of Utica! The food is hot and delicious with HUGE portions. Plenty of food for tomorrow... if it survives the night! Lol... We ordered too much food, and knew it as soon as the appetizers came out. We had the parmesan fries and the parmesan polenta fries. The fries were good, and the polenta was something I've never had before...unique and delicious. They are fried with a tasty, crispy batter, and the inside the polenta is creamy. An excellent start to the meal. I had the homemade cavitappi as my entrée. It is served in a cream sauce with peas, prosciutto, and onions. I added chicken to it and it was absolutely delicious. Glad I couldn't finish it... more for tomorrow! My wife had the chicken riggies, and she enjoyed them immensely...and that says something as she is a riggie snob...also a huge plate of food with plenty left over. Our waiter, Greg, was efficient, attentive and very nice...a good representation of the restaurant. The ONLY thing is that it's a crowded place...tables are close... that's nothing that would keep me from coming back at all. We've been here one before, and I'm glad we went back. It was a solid reminder that I need to visit more often.

So incredibly mediocre. For the price, such a ripoff. I wanted to like it so bad, but it felt like the food was defrosted and the drinks could’ve been from Applebees.

Great place for a quick bite right in the heart of downtown. Make sure you have reservations for Friday or Saturday because they fill up quick. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. The bar is fully stocked! You can’t go wrong with the appetizers and the filet is always tasty. For reference, a table of 4 takes 60-90 min with dinner and drinks

A really nice evening with delicious food served wit excellent service at an excellent price point. Suzanne as a server and host?? Extraordinary!

I have had events st this restaurant and regularly order takeout, occasionally eat in. Typically, I have no complaints. We made a reservation for my birthday tonight. I had been looking forward to the riggies all week. Order my riggies, gluten free, medium on the level of spiciness, my daughter orders the same, my husband orders a steak cooked medium rare. Our table is in an awkward corner and it was difficult to get out, when my husband had to use the restroom i had to get up and walk all the way around the table so he could get out. Food takes a very long time, waiter stops once and fills my husband's water, mine stays empty. Eventually our food comes, steak is medium well, maybe even well, my riggies are burnt, chicken is burnt, onions burnt, all you can taste is the burnt flavor and they are mild, not medium. My daughter's were not burnt but were also mild. The waiter disappeared for a long time so we went to the bar to ask for our check and a to go box for the remainder of my daughter's food, my bowlof food was left on the tablebasicallyuneaten. No real apology for the awful service, they did say they would remake the food but we had already been there an hour. I usually like their food, but this was a special occasion and food and service were both absolutely awful. It will be a long time before I go back. Restaurant says meals were comped, I paid the bill, $71 plus a tip for the waiter that disappeared. I would guess that the riggies that were left behind were removed from the bill because I said I was not waiting for another serving to be prepared.
