What's not to like? Great service, good reasonably priced food in a kitschy space.

If your looking for a cozy home town, Mom Pop type kitchen/Dine in atmosphere, This is a good affordable place to take the whole family or even just stop in for a bottomless coffee,☕️ and a good comfort meal. Smoking friendly. Dietary restrictions: There are a few decent variations of things you can choose from to accommodate you if you have dietary restrictions.. but the options for vegetarian or vegan are minimal. Parking: They have a pretty decent amount of parking as they are placed in the center of their own lot. Parking rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kid-friendliness: The staff is very friendly and accommodates most children's needs. Highchairs and booster seats are available. They also offer crayons, as well as activity paper mats, to keep them entertained. Kid friendly rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is really unfortunate that all the good aspects of this place are ruined by cigarette smoke. The food, coffee, service, and diner-style atmosphere are all great. Unfortunately there is a smoking room that honestly doesn't make much difference that it's separated. It's an open doorway next to non-smokers. As soon as someone lights up, all you smell is smoke and ruins any smell and taste of food. At one point I started feeling nauseous because it smelled so bad. If smoking was not allowed inside I would give this place 5 stars and would come here weekly. Now I probably won't come back. The smoke was unbearable.

Always friendly service. Breakfast is my favorite. Fair pricing and close to home and plenty of parking.

Slice of Americana. 1st time breakfast at the Anchor Grill in Covington. Opened 1946. Cash only. Jukebox. Service w/ a smile. Damn fine breakfast.
