Very nice place for a cozy gathering. House of Toronto's original craft brewery. It is located downtown, at Toronto's Harbourfront with an outdoor patio (with direct views of the lake) and inside dining too. Fresh beer, decent food, nice atmosphere. It's a restaurant, on-site brewery and retail beer store all in one! Very cool decoration! Great views of the lake and the CN Tower. Perfect spot on a summer day!
Nice view, but I was freezing despite being about 20 ft from the fireplace. The interior design is nothing special to write about. Food, well my husband and I shared the margarita pizza with chicken added and 4 fish taco. Specifically asked the waiter that nothing was spicy, any spice is on the side (for my spouse only). I asked for extra creama assuming it was not spicy. It was. I literally had to go to the bathroom twice to vomit up any attempts to eat the food. I asked the waiter if there was any food that isn’t spicy that I can get as I had thrown everything else up from the spice. A pretzel was the only thing he said isn’t that spicy on the menu, not really appropriate for dinner. We were provided with an already added 18% tip on the bill =$108… for two of us, (yes, hubby had a couple drinks) and me, literally had a single slice of the pizza (thin, soggy and burnt crust (pizza bones as I call them) and 2 bites of 2 different tacos that made me sick (the creama was very spicy and the second one didn’t have any on it but the orange mayo… which was also spicy) and 2 glasses of Ice water. Needless to say, left overs were not taken with us. Went back to the hotel and had take out delivered. What a waste of money and time out on this place. We won’t be going again.
Stopped here on the way to a leafs game. Owen helped us out and made sure we had a great experience. Pizza was delicious and a perfect meal for my wife and I to share.
Great welcome, great table service. Manky fries, looked like left overs. The burger was not hot.
Been here couple of times and atmosphere is amazing. A few times had to wait in a queue to be seated, recommend you to do reservations in advance. In summer, it is fantastic with lake side window Vegetarian options: Loaded Nachos
Great restaurant, with a brilliant terrace view over Lake Ontario, service is very nice as well. I enjoyed the food, so would recommend it.
Good experience overall. I had the brisket sandwich and subbed the side for a salad. I usually love getting the brisket dinner but I wanted to go for a light lunch. It felt a tad too light. More meat in the sandwich would’ve been better. Definitely overpriced at $38 for a sandwich and diet coke. IG: mansafx
