The woman behind the counter was so rude. Seemed really annoyed that we asked for a sample; barely held out the samples so I had to reach all the way over the freezer. In doing so, my scarf slipped down between the counter and the freezer, and she was SO annoyed when I asked if she had anything I could grab it with. And after ALL that, 2 small scoops of ice cream were EIGHTEEN DOLLARS. I'd say overall give this place a skip...
The prices were displayed in a way where my whole group had no idea that we’d be spending about $10 for a small cup (some of which had one scoop while others had 2) and the employees seemed annoyed and disinterested when any of us wanted to ask a question, giving basically no answer. Comparing the taste of the ice cream to the prices, I left wishing I’d just gone to CVS.
Stellar, pure ice cream. Creative flavors. Staff Outstanding!
Great ice cream as well as coffee
I really wanted to love this place. I used to live by a location in Brooklyn & went all the time, and I was so excited to see them make a comeback. However, I took some friends in today and had a pretty sour experience. The employee seemed fairly annoyed with us each asking for 1 sample each (which used to be encouraged at their other location). I got a scoop of the butter cake, which I was really excited for since it’s been like 2 years since I had any Ample Hills, and it was literally just vanilla ice cream. I don’t know how the employee scooped all around the massive chunks, but it was incredibly disappointing considering how much I had talked it up to my friends. I was looking forward to adding this back to my “must see” list for friends and family, but definitely will recommend other dessert places from here out.
Ice cream was delicious but the caramel and hot fudge toppings were not: owners should provide hot caramel and hot fudge toppings instead of sugary syrups which added nothing to the ice cream,
