We love Amigo's! Our favorite in the area. Food is great! Good service.
We always get great service and wonderful food. On our last visit, we got seated and was over looked to even ask what we would like to drink. Waited for about 12-15 minutes, then noticed a table that got seated in that time frame. Get greeted, then asked what they would like to drink. I had to get up and actually go to the hostess and ask who our waiter was. Long be hold it was the same waiter who waited on that table that just set down. That waiter is always great when we visit, didn't understand what happened. Then, when we placed our food and when it got to our table, I noticed that there were items on my meal that were not supposed to be on there. When I let the person from the kitchen know, they took it to the back and only to bring it back with the items covered up with lettuce and cheese. What if someone was allergic to those items, then what. I love the restaurant, but it will be a while before my family and I will be back.
I ordered 2 chicken and cheese quesadillas for takeout. Payed a little over $20 for them. The quesadillas were so thin with hardly any chicken. At $10 a piece, they should do better. I will never order from here again.
We have been going to Amigos about once a week for the last 8 years. The service is always great! The owner walks around and talks to people and checks to see how things are going. We have only had a few times in 8 years that something wasn’t right and it was corrected immediately and with no issue, We’ve tried about everything on the menu and all of it has been yummy. This is our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Spring Hill.
Amigo's Mexican restaurant is always great. Service is exceptional and so is the food. Their salsa is especially good and made fresh, not to mention the hands down best dessert I have ever had.
