AMERICAN PRIME

Where to begin. My girlfriend and I dined in for the second time ever last night, and were promptly greeted by the host, who was warm and welcoming. Our server, Bryan, was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly professional. The tuna tartar was a big reason we came back, and again it did not disappoint. Our steaks were prepared beautifully, and the creme brulee was just as phenomenal as the meal. The only (and very easily fixable) flaw was that the fries weren't crisp, but hey, if that's the only problem between the beautiful dining room, wonderful staff, and stellar food, that's saying something. We enthusiastically recommend this place to our friends and will be coming back as often as possible. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire experience.

Service was great food was good but portions way to small for a steak house

It was delicious! Oysters were amazing and the smoked salmon appetizer. The service by the waitor was also very kind .

We were expecting stellar experience based on their other Blackstone restaurant in Greenwich. We were spectacularly disappointed. My boyfriend and I ordered what we typically order at the Greenwich branch, tomahawk ribeye for one. It came out as 2 tomahawk ribeyes for 2, and sliced. So the server took away one and my boyfriend and i shared one. To be fair, it was our fault coz we should have read the menu. But it definitely ruined our experience and will not come back. Atmosphere was also depressing. We went on a Saturday night, and only 2 other tables were occupied.

Went in for an early anniversary dinner since the kid had homework and was completely underwhelmed. Waiter was very nice but couldn’t make up for the rest. Received wrong salad (was replaced) lobster bisque was watery, drinks weren’t as described because there was a new bartender, requested filet medium well and it came practically raw, charged for an extra drink that was never ordered or received….just a terrible experience from beginning to end. It almost felt like we were being punked. Requested dessert to go so we could get out of there. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.
