Uniquely cool speakeasy somewhat hidden in downtown Franklin, though it has become a well known secret. The wait to get in is sometimes long but the atmosphere and drinks are worth it. Craft cocktails are the main attraction and are works of art. Beer selection is limited (two choices) and could be expanded. Food is basically sliders and snacks but are definitely tasty. I hope the food menu will increase given time, as it’s a great place to relax, mingle, drink and eat. Kudos to the crew who brought this place to life!

It was fun. If they could just increase the brightness by 10% that’d be great. It’s too dark to read the menus

This is how much actual liquid is in your $15 cocktail when the giant ice cube is removed.

Could not get table. The host allowed me to quickly view inside and several tables open. They were all reserved for the owner. Hope the owner tips well. Not going back

The new Speakeasy style location is interesting but ultimately was a huge fail for us. There are no reservations; you add yourself to a wait list when you get there by scanning a bar code. Communication from the wait system was good, and the experience of pulling the Frankenstein switch to get in was clever. Once inside service was good, but we immediately noticed how stuffy the atmosphere was. It was to the point we joked about opening a window to get some air. Then we ordered food. Maybe we shouldn't have high expectations ordering food in a speakeasy? Regardless, the meatballs were cold, and the chicken sliders looked like something I'd find at a church potluck. Drinks are obviously the specialty here and they were good. The problem is, every place in Franklin has great drinks and every other place has good food and ventilation. TL/DR: It's hard to imagine they'll be able to compete in Franklin without oxygen and edible food.

Went around 10pm on a Saturday, young lady at entry door was very nice, venue was pretty packed, drinks were pretty good, ranch & Nashville hot sliders were good. Overall good space for a date night, after dinner drinks, or to just sit back and take in the ambiance.

Interesting place. I love the idea of it but there is room for improvement. It would be better if the workers wore more period attire, the music playing should be old timey Jazz or Swing instead of modern music. The ice cubes were huge and took up a lot of room in the glasses, not much room for the beverage. It was my daughter's first alcohol beverage and she didn't even get carded.

The service on 1/10/2024 was horrible. The guys working wouldn’t acknowledge our partyand when they did they were not real friendly. Maybe that is the schtick at this place but the servers were bad. Super expensive drinks but it was a cool one time place to visit.

Update - Jan 2024 - I originally added the review below - I’ll leave it so you can read if you’d like. I have been to the place several times since then and am happy to share that the experience is very different now. This has become one of my favorite places in town for a drink and small bites. The staff is very friendly and attentive from hostess and bartenders to servers and bar backs. I often get someone stopping by to check on how I’m doing. The drinks are very good and creative. The bar didn’t choose a lazy approach of offering well known drinks you can find everywhere but rather developed their own versions of traditional cocktails while also offering their own drinks. The vibe and atmosphere is that of a speakeasy and very cool. You get the bar, then a high top with seats on both sides, individual tables and a more cozy church pew and chairs in the back to choose from depending on the experience you’re looking for. I think this is one place to watch in the area and wouldn’t be surprised if the concept catches on. I recommend you stop by and check it out! Beware that there can be a little bit of a wait as there’s lots of people wanting to come see the new place. I suggest you get added to waitlist with plenty of lead time. Original post from October 2023: This is a tough one to write. I have been waiting in anticipation for the opening in downtown Franklin for a while. I went three times the first week! The location is great and the atmosphere hits the spot. The drink list is very good and bartenders do not leave you wanting. Drinks are tasty! Organization and leadership although is severely lacking. On weekend nights there’s a ling line outside. It takes about an hour to get inside. Reasonable for a new location, until you get inside and take a peak. Only about 60% of the place is full. Makes no sense, considering the size of the line outside and the time it takes to get through. When you come in, it takes a while to get service. If you seat at the bar you’re in, but a table or benches in the back, don’t feel the same. Drinks take a while to come out. And they dont come together. My sig other got her drink about 10 mins before I did. Food came quickly but no utensils. I asked for them a few times but took about 10 minutes to arrive. By the time they got there, food was cold and had to be sent back. Servers seem to be doing the best they can but appear to lack leadership and direction. There’s a great concept here that I’m afraid is doomed to fail without serious correction from ownership. If you’re going to ask your patrons to wait an hour standing in a hallway before they can even see the inside of the place, make sure they have a good experience inside. Wish this place the best as we need more bars in Franklin, but more than just a bar, people are looking for a good experience and so far this place has not delivered.
