This is just one of the best little bakeries in Indy. Their breads are all great and their croissants are amazing.
Absolutely phenomenal bread and pastries but cat owners beware. For some reason they fiend for Amelia’s. They’ll dig through bags and climb shelves to get to it. One of mine shakes with excitement when he smells it. I don’t know how or why they so consistently seek out Amelia’s products specifically but it’s becoming increasingly challenging to keep them at bay. Anyway it’s darn good stuff, endorsed by both people and what are supposed to be obligate carnivores.
one time they had a red bean+yuzu croissant with matcha drizzle and it absolutely HAUNTS me. get the semolina loaf for the best toast of your life! everything is good and nothing hurt!
Best pastry out climbing team has ever had!
When this place opened it was a godsend. Finally, quality, European style bread in Indianapolis. A little, pricey, yes, but excellent for a special occasion. Sadly, it has become the poster child of gentrification. Selling a wide variety of goods you can't afford. Do they really think they did any favors to the people who used to live (some still do) around Fountain Square? They don't want your business. They don't answer their phone and the website store won't take a holiday order four days out. It just drips with pretentiousness.
Best bread in Indy (and Amy is cute)
Wonderful and Quaint bread store, with many offerings to choose from that are not bread items. Our first trip in today and certainly not the last.
A small bakery delivering big flavor in all their breads and pastries. Great service. Minimal seating.
