The few times I've been there it's been the same guy, I'm not sure if he is the owner- whomever he is, he is very sweet! Everything I have had here has been super flavorful, down to the sauces. I'm not sure how they get their rice the way they do, but it's plump! The falafel is delightfully crisp and not oily, and the chicken wrap is perfectly balanced.
I got the cauliflower and falafel wrap—HANDS DOWN—the best wrap I’ve had in Portland. After living in other major cities like SF, NY, DC, I find most middle eastern (or any “ethnic”) food in Portland to be quite disappointing. The tahini sauce is by far the best I’ve ever had. Perfect combination of rich taste, complex texture, and messy sauce—in my opinion, it’s not authentic food if it doesn’t make a mess. They are super sweet here too, always makes for a wonderful experience. Give them your money! More than worth it!
The best falafel wrap that I've ever had in my life!
This spot slaaaaaps. The food is so flavorful and rich and satisfying. I can’t stop ordering the eggplant wrap. Vegetarian options: My vegan gf loves this spot too!
Best Falafel wrap. The wrap is thin and they also have a good sauce - their unique ingredient is french fries as u can see them. I remove them and eat them as a side w/ ketchup but the first bite I eat it with the fries and it add another layer to the bite. Ive been here several times - this place and Egyptian Bro on 28th are the best falafel wraps I have tried so far.
