Ambler Texas Kitchen + Cocktails

We had a great dinner. Our server, Bellamy was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend the Red Zone Cafe.

Server Francisco was Awesome-request him! Huevos Rancheros were SO GOOD! Breakfast tacos were more simple but also delicious, not overly spicy. Sticky Bun is a must! Perfect quieter spot on the riverwalk

The Ambler is a very nice looking restaurant with great ambiance and the service stared off good then became so so as the evening went on waiting for a check 30 min after finishing our meal was not ideal either. The the biggest disappointment unfortunately was the lackluster food , it was mediocre at best and sadly there was nothing I tried that I would ever need to come back for. Foods I tried were the redfish , meat loaf , baked oyster , chicken fried steak, deviled eggs plus sides but don’t get me wrong the food wasn’t bad it just wasn’t great it was simply ok leaving me perfectly fine with not craving another bite and that not one’s expectation when dinning at a restaurant at this price point. Flavor flavor flavor… not here unfortunately.

Not the best food and when you take the high prices into consideration it's borderline robbery. Guess the environment is good though.
