Amaya's Taco Village

Breakfast tacos are made fresh and tasty. I called in my tacos to go, and my order was right.

I go here strictly for the crispy tacos and salsa

I had breakfast. It was great. The service was a disaster. The girl did not understand that my friend wanted unsweetened tea. It took two times for the waitress too go back and forth then my friend ordered Dr Pepper just so she could have something to drink. Then after eating we asked for separate checks. She put everything on one bill. So more confusion. Then to top off the morning I left my keys on the table. Drove all the way home. Could not open my front door. Drove all the way back to Amaya's and asked if anyone had found my keys. Of course the girl didn't know what I was trying to say. She supposedly looked for my keys. Then a man came over. Asked rudely what I wanted. I said I left my keys on the table. Told him which one . How long ago. That the keys had medication on the end of the keys in tube. To make a long story short. The meds where gone. But I got the keys. So just to let people know don't leave your items at Amaya's because you won't get them back the way you accidentally left them. I've been going to Amaya's for over 25 years. No more.

Best menudo, corn tortillas combo in all of Austin for sure.
