What a great spot! The location is so charming. The service we got was really good. We had boozy affogatos and stuffed zucchini flowers.

Tried their pistachio and strawberry cake/pie and it was delicious. While parking options were limited, which is somewhat expected for a downtown location, I was thoroughly impressed with their service and food. Highly recommended!

Amato has been a staple in Calgary. Most accurate “European-style” ice cream shop you can go to, a variety of flavours, with cones and wafers to match. Sitting at the corner of 17th st and 4th ave provide some great views of one of the most popular streets on the Beltline. Sitting in is great, but good luck finding a spot to sit after 10 pm
