If you love hot chocolate, thick and creamy, well then this is your place. I love the churros with guaba sauce (there's like 4 more options ranging from chocolate to dulce de leche). The plates and sandwiches are amazing, too. The wait is well worth it. Just make sure you go early because they are open until 3 pm or 4 pm on weekends.
Love the churros. There was a violinist an cellist when I came.
Such good food and drinks, and amazing service. The menu is extensive and there are so many gluten free options. They’ve got it down. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll be coming back.
Great food, service and atmosphere. This place has it all. A must for anyone visiting Pasadena
I normally walk here on the weekends, ordering a breakfast while I wait 45min-1hr for my partner to join me and we order a large lunch. This time, however, the owner asked me repeatedly within this time frame about my use of a table and additional chair. I explained that I was waiting on someone and that sufficed initially. At the tail end of that hour he approached me and my partner, telling me that there is no studying allowed on the weekends, that I had been there two hours (despite me not even have been awake for two hours at that point), and that we were welcome to go elsewhere to order our lunch. The woman next to us told us how awkward the interaction was. I’m unsure what was going on with him today, but I can’t recommend returning to such a hurried out the door kind of environment.
The food here is wonderful
Soooo gooooood!!! Garlic sauce and avocado sauce are so tasty!!!!
Such a cute spot for coffee and lunch. They have good sandwiches, croissant, and coffee. Indoor and outdoor seatings available. I ordered: 1. Matcha latte with oatmilk 2. Chicken pesto sandwich 3. El doe sotelo - egg whites, roasted and fresh tomatoes, fresh cilantro, avocado and olive oil. Black beans on the side. This is arepas for breakfast with the choice of scramble egg Paid street parking is available for this Pasadena downtown area.
The place is cozy and full of people. The service was fast, the food was presentable, but the cachapas were salty, the patacones were small, and golfeados were delicious.
