Al's New York Pizza

We did NOT get our delivery pizza!! All the phone numbers have been disconnected so now what?? I’m going to my visa company to get a refund or charge this place with credit card fraud.

Terrible the pizza was hard in old. The second slice was cut so small in look like a Elementary pizza and not cut right never again

I have been here twice and I so far I love the place. The Stromboli is my favorite truly recommend especially for the price, very affordable for the quantity and quality. The lady was very kind and attentive. My order came out faster than expected.

Came back to Miami after being home for awhile (NJ) & saw Nic's was gone. His sauce & cheese was closer to NY style but his crust was super soggy & never crunchy. This new place, Al's. Has better crust but it's too thick & chewy. Sauce is bland & the cheese doesn't taste like anything.

Tried to call to place an order for 15min. Place has no working phone. Can't reach no one. Guess it's walk in only.

Ppl commenting don't know anything about NY Pizza. Dough is too thick and chewy. Sauce tastes very heavy, the cheese isn't hitting that golden salty staple. It's better then most pizza's claiming to be NY style but it's far far from NY pizza. Change these problems, it'll be really close.

There must have been a change of ownership at Al's. This shop used to sell AUTHENTIC NY style pizza, but now the pizza is thick, dense, and tasteless. Even side items like garlic rolls are difficult to eat because the dough has not risen and rested as required for true NY style fare.

The day I went, it was understaffed and one lady taking care of everything. I asked for a couple of slices. When I received them, she told me something along the lines. “It’s crispy, not burnt…it’s because it’s New York style” . I’m no expert but, I did just move here from NYC(The Bronx) 4 months ago after living in NYC for over 20 years. I’ve tried pizza from all over NY state. I been satisfied with $1 slices found in NYC. I’ve even tried pizza in Napoli. I am disappointed with my experience here, I was even embarrassed to go back and complain. I had one bite and discarded the slices. Ps. I like crispy pizza. Lastly, the price was not it. Why is it more expensive than downtown Manhattan?
