The food was fantastic. The best friend chicken I've ever had and even the kids were delighted. The staff was great. The food is cooked to order and they came over to let us know it will take a little bit to cook fresh but offered to bring the kids out right away. From 7th Street, keep walking past the bars and restaurants until you find this gem.

I just got back from picking up 4 sides to sample at home. The collard greens are absolutely out of this world. The fried okra and mac and cheese is just like what my grandma passed down and it is amazing. I saw the fried chicken and it looked like it was on point. Everyone I talked to while waiting with my niece was very friendly. I am for sure going to make this a regular place to eat when I head that way. You will not be disappointed. Food was hot and fresh even tho I waited for 30 mins until I got home to eat it.
