Nasty. Flies. Blood stain meat cabinet. Floor sticky. Poor service. I left w.o purchasing.
wish there was a 0 star option. owners were creepy and weird. man asked us where we lived over the phone and then asked if we were sure we were really going to order everything we said. kept staring at us eat too. guess there was a reason there was only one other customer there.
Food was great. I ordered one of the special of the day, lamb chops on a bed of rice. Lamb chops (3 ea) were delicious. Basmati rice, my favorite type of rice was great, and cooked perfectly. Small salad was good. It was more of a Pakistan/Indian convenient store than a normal restaurant. Parking: Parking on street. Depending on time, could be hard to find.
Had a great dish of lamb biryani, and a peek into Oakland's Pakistani community. While I was waiting for my order, I was offered a taste of another group's goat curry, and learned a word or two of Pashto. If you're the only one there, you'll find the atmosphere to be standard-issue convenience store, but if it's full of Pakistanis, it's like a short visit overseas.
Amazing food. We stumbled among this place by accident and they serve hot food. It took a few minutes to prepare, but was excellent. If you are in the Oakland area, stop by and try. You will not be disappointed. You can literally get a burger any day of the week! Try something new.
This hidden gem is inside a small grocery bodega. The delicious authentic Pakistani food is cooked fresh - I saw the naan oven when I was there! It's well worth the very reasonable prices they're charging for these delicious dishes - don't miss out on the samosas!
