Absolutely love this place. Located in the heart of Alhambra and on the corner of the intersection. Large parking lot located in the back, but it can fill up during busy hours. The meat was terrific and the self serve items were numerous. I really liked that the drinks and soft serve ice cream were self serve as well. Plenty of tables inside and kept clean. I really wish they were open a little later. I’m sure they have bathrooms, but I didn’t see where they were. I’ll definitely be going back as often as I’m in the area.
The items are very few they have 2 stations to look larger. The waitress just pour the soup and disappeared, the hot pot is very small and no utensils provided only a very small bowl and a spoon. Very dissatisfied
Worst Shabu Shabu in LA area. Simple : ▪️Poor Meat Quality (some terrible cuts too) (if u have to order stick to 1,2,3) ▪️Super Slow service for AYCE (waiters take their time) ▪️Worst Sauce selection (no soy sauce, hot sauce, vinegar, or any condiments (sugar, hot chili pepers, etc (basically anything standard is lacking) ▪️ Flavorless Broth (got Spicy Beef broth) aka hot boiling water with red coloring and a sprinkle of salt (not a tad bit spicy) ▪️ Scallop was still in chunks of ice (not yet defrosted) Pros: ▪️Easy parking ▪️ Convenient location ▪️No wait (I can see y lol) ▪️Fairly clean restaurant
Friendly staff. Great selection of food and ayce drinks and ice cream!
I use the highest quality meat I've ever been to AYCE Shabu. The inside was very clean, very fast, and kind. I'll be back!
Parking is kinda busy when dinner time. Not a bad price with all you can eat and drinks on the weekend. Service is decent but sometimes it gets a little bit busy. Good meat selection but small and thin (Lamb is very good in my opinion). Salad bar is ok. And veggies, seafood, or fish ball selection is huge. Not much recommended because it is AYCE. Probably one of the decent Shabu Shabu places in the SGV area.
