The food is honestly so great, it’s not just like any other kabab house. Their food has a very distinct and delicious taste. The service can be a little slow but the cozy and beautiful restaurant and the great quality of the food makes up for it. It’s also a very neat & clean restaurant, and the design of it is very classic and very reminiscent of the Afghan cultural, which isn’t only pretty or aesthetic but also great form making you feel like you are in a restaurant in your home country.
Loved this restaurant, had the best Qabli Palao, great white sauce, boorani baadenjan, sambuseh, everything was so good. Hoping they reopen, they will definitely be missed for the years of great food they've provided in the area. Hard to find good afghan restaurants in NY
I know this place for long time. Our family parties has happened here even my engagement party. But since that someone else has bought this place the food it's okay it's not super good like before and now the prices that they has increased is crazy I'm just gonna leave you a small sample of pictures that they charge me for a little bit of only Kebabs nothing else for $95. look at the picture that I'm going to post with this posting and compared to its prices. They becoming somehow a rip-off.
It's ok. Sherazi took over so its really sherazi review. The rice and grill wasn't as fresh as it should be. It was very obvious. We ordered nuggets and fries for kids (10kids total) and they didn't have ketchup lol
