By far the best food I had over a weekend in Margate. Delicious Ful (fava bean stew), an aubergine dish and cucumber & yoghurt salad all with nice pitta and amazingly good value!

Lovely little place, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the falafel, koshary, mesakaa', the mint tea and fresh mango drink!! 10/10

Cozy little cafe by the sea. They always play some old cinema on telly. This is a home run business, so usually takes a little time to get the food served. Try Um Ali or Basbuka. Won't mind going back.

What a lovely find! Do yourself a favor and eat here :-) Our food was beautiful. Every dish was tasty, fresh and cooked with care. Portions were generous. Prices unbeatable. The lady who runs the restaurant very much cares that you enjoy your food and your visit. We ate like gods and our bill was less than £30. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a gorgeous lunch.

Such a good find! We were visiting Margate today and that cafe was a random find, food was delish, lovely service, very reasonable prices and the most importantly dogs friendly!! We take our babies everywhere with us, so it’s very important to us that we can sit nicely together with our little kids and eat food! 100% recommended and definitely will be back when we are in Margate again :)
