Five stars across the board. One of the best meals/nights out I’ve had in a while. We dug into the steak, bone marrow and sides so fast, I forgot to take a picture. And the Hamachi Shooters are totally bomb. Even the bread with three butter options and the macaroni and cheese were so yummy. We sat in the bar with a pretty large party and were really well taken care of by Susie. All her drinks are great but the Bees Knees was delish!

I am so disappointed because this used to be my go to steakhouse! We were celebrating my sister with family since she just got married and we booked a private room at the restaurant. Our main server, Jace, was very disrespectful from the start. We asked for more bread since we had a larger group of people and some people couldn't reach. He gave us attitude and told us "it was enough for our table". In addition, he also slammed the door going out of the room after making snide remarks toward us after asking for more bread. At the end of the dinner, we brought this situation up to the manager and Jace continued to harass our group when we were leaving the restaurant. Him and another server approached us and asked if we wanted pictures with Jace or if we wanted pictures in front of the bathroom. How insulting and unprofessional can they get! Never coming back here ever again and would not recommend anyone to come here unless you want to be disrespected by the servers!

We are hear from Philadelphia Pa, Kenny the waiter was fabulous, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. This place had the absolute best bread and butter presentation in the world. Thank you for a wonderful night.

Came here to check out their chef tasting menu or their “omakase,” and wow, I was very impressed! The menu was very well balanced and Japanese inspired which I loved! Our server/sommelier Frederic was amazing and super knowledgeable about the entire menu along with the wine pairings! Some of the highlights food-wise were the pork kakuni, the lobster tortellini, and the A5 Miyazaki with the shaved black winter truffles! I will definitely be back here for more!

Went in with high hopes and high expectations and was sorely disappointed. Service is terrible. We had to ask 3 times to get more bread for the table. At each ask, we were told "right away" and then nothing would happen until the third round when we finally got more bread. One member of our party of 3 asked for a second drink and it never came. We asked three different people and each said "coming right up" but it never arrived. Beyond these service issues, the overall service was very slow even though the dining room was half empty. Clearly very short handed. One final service issue was the bill. We were charged for two rounds of drinks even though we only had one. To their credit when the error was pointed out, they comped the one round of drinks. As an FYI, the online menu is not up to date with either content or prices. There are fewer entries than listed online and I will let you guess which way prices went. Food overall is pretty good but the steaks are not worth the price being charged. Will definitely look for a different venue next time.

Food not any better than Ruth Chris but twice the price. Menu is boring, seems like the selections have been reduced. Service was also subpar. We were at Alexander’s for a birthday dinner and the service was terrible, slow, rude. If you want fine dining in Pasadena, The Royce at The Langham is a much better option. Don’t waste your time or money with Alexander’s

One of the most popular fine dinning in Southern California! I had their tasting menu last time but tried almost everything in their menu this time… besides their steaks & rib eyes.. they also have Wagyu beef from Japan to Australia… also some interesting Asian dishes like lobster ramen and Mediterranean dishes like octopus… excellent selection of fine wine & cocktails…
