The best place for margaritas in Stone Oak. Margaritas are smooth and strong, staff is friendly, view from the back patio…amazing. Our favorite place to snack and enjoy drinks!
Wow ambience was relaxing, elegance food was on point, service was ok but over all I want to go back to try other plates.
We visited San Antonio last week and this place was recommended by a friend of ours. The food was amazing. I had grilled mahi mahi with rice and a house salad (I can't remember the name - something Maria). I was expecting a house salad as just basic greens and some chopped veggies or something but this was by far the best house salad I've ever had. I don't even know what was in the dressing. The fish was grilled just right and the rice was amazing, too. Highly recommended.
Happening place with long history of centerpiece dining. Food was really good! Enjoyed the selection of dishes. Kids liked the outdoor setting and water fountain. Windy but enjoyed the view.
Usually when I want Mexican, I just go to Lupe but I tried out Aldaco’s on a Friday night because it’s closer to home and what a disappointment. The food was ok, not great, but the service… wow. For starters, I went by myself, they seemed annoyed at me sitting down alone at a table on a Friday… then my waitress the entire time, if I asked for anything she seemed annoyed about it… I asked for a little extra salsa and another drink and she walked off with an attitude. The creepy manager kept staring at me eating alone like there was something wrong with me too. I called my waitress over toward the end and said “I’m so sorry for just being a one person table but I promise to tip” she could’ve cared less.. how am I, as the customer, made to feel like crap for asking for anything while I’m paying for it.. anyways, terrible experience. I’ll hit up Lupe next time.
