Everytime we come from vacation, we come to Alberte's. The food here is amazing. It's as if you were eating native Haitian food right in Haiti. We were a group of 8 this time, and everyone raved about their selection. One of the best Haitian restaurants in South Florida.
I was part of a large group for dinner today. The server was friendly and attentive. The food was served without delay, and it was amazing! This restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in South Florida. We'll definitely be back again and again.
Compared to other Haitian restaurants, they're a little pricey for the food quality.
I’ve been to Alberte’s many time since they opened. And as another reviewer said the food is declining as the years go by. My plate seemed ok until Ingot home to dig in. I ordered legume Jon Jon rice and plantains. The rice was ok didn’t have that authentic taste I’ve grown accustomed to and the legume was extremely dry and seemed old. Very very disappointing.. I bought two plates of legume and one griot spending around $69 with tip. Very disappointing I won’t be back as this is the second time I ordered to go and the food was less than appetizing.
The food does not look like what the menu looks like . I got left over rice or it was sitting for some time it did not taste fresh. Plantains was not fresh either. I was 3 hours before closing I don’t think the food should be tasting awful. Very pricey but food was terrible!
Jennifer the bartender busted her tush to take care of everyone with a smile. Ordered jerk chicken stew. Received fried chicken with stew sauce. Ordered a burger cooked medium, received two thin, burnt patties and one slice of tomato the size of a quarter on a bun. The patties were the same thin preprocessed things that we used to get at the middle school cafeteria. We will never ever return.
Good atmosphere,,but the food wasn’t on top more work
Hit or miss. This particular day was off the mark.
Great service and the food is amazing, I do go back often and it’s always a good experience
