My first visit to Alamo, but certainly not my last. Food was amazing and our server, Jason, was superb.

My wife and I had dinner here on Thursday. This was our first visit since the location was rebuilt following the wild fire in 2016. It is in the same location (overlooking the creek at 705 E Parkway). The outside of the building looks the same while the inside is greatly improved. The important thing is the food is still outstanding. The menu has a wide variety of items to pick from so everyone will find something they like. We arrived around 5:30pm and were immediately seated. We started by ordering their hand-bread mozzarella sticks. My wife had a Caesar salad topped with grill chicken and two glasses of Cycle PN wine and I had a Black Angus T-bone steak (grilled over an oak fire to sear in all the juices) which was tender and delicious along with rice and soup. YUM! Raimundas was our server and took great care of us. Overall we had an excellent experience. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back. Open daily; outdoor seating available; FYI...There is a parking lot located directly by the Parkway however be aware that there is also a side entrance that allows you to park directly in front of the restaurant.
This was advertised as the very best steakhouse in town. But, I’m not sure who did the rating on that one. The steaks are big, for sure: But that’s about the highlight here.
The beef served here, whether the strip or the ribeye, aren’t the best cuts I’ve ever tried. The strip was over cooked a little, making it rather tough to chew. The ribeye had an ok flavor, but was definitely missing that ribeye marbling it needed: And was hard to cut. Salads were decent, but not great. The Potato was, well, a potato...
The service here was a little slow too. Taking orders took awhile, and drinks and food took even longer: Had to constantly ask and remind the server of items...
And then the worst possible thing happened: my beer was served in a warm glass. That’s never a good sign... huh?
Sadly, there’s not been a really good steakhouse in this town for quite some time; and this place is no different. Gatlinburg is definitely in need of a good one for sure. But, even though the choices are limited, I’d probably try somewhere else on my next visit. Sorry...
If you enjoy a good steak this is definitely the place to visit while in Gatlinburg. Not only is there steaks exceptional, but I absolutely love the selection of cocktails made with Smoky Mountain moonshine! This place is definitely not to be overlooked. Don't let the prices for you, it's worth every penny! Not to mention it's got the best Iceberg wedge salad ever!

My husband & I had dinner here one evening while visiting Gatlinburg. We both ordered filets and they were delicious. We thought the prices were fairly reasonable. If you want a good steak while visiting this area, I would recommend having dinner here.

I went today, and I had the best steak ever! I had the Filet Skewers, with the Alamo Potatoes and the She crab soup. The she crab soup was creamy, it had a nice taste to it. The Alamo Potatoes were wonderful. And I also tried the teriyaki chicken, it was very tender. Service was great! Drinks were brought without asking. Service and food overall, it's a 6/5 stars! It's a favorite now!
