I've been here many times, and it's a little hard to rate because of my various experiences. If I am going to a movie on my own, I prefer this theater. The single trays are way too far forward for the seating, but avoid having an awkward share table moment with a stranger. The "reclining" seats don't really recline all that much, but it is nice that they still leave room for people to walk by without discomfort. I've noticed that since they installed the red buttons here, the response has been much quicker, but occasionally we've had things that were not delivered until we used the red light to remind them and then they were immediately "right out" but definitely not fresh. The popcorn quality is hit or miss at times, but like most people, we will eat it anyway and ask for more. Overall, it's a good place to see a movie. I've never had a problem with anybody being loud or using their phone at this theater, ever! That's pretty amazing. The staff is always nice. I don't really like the service charge that's automatically applied, then asking for more if our server is good. How much are we expected to give them? The extra 2%? Another 20% separately? Seems like another excuse for a company to make us pay their employees wages for them while also making us pay $5 for a soda and then an upcharge if we don't buy alcohol. That's not this theater's fault though. I got carried away. Anyway, The only other thing I don't like about this theater is that it is smaller and so there are less options available for viewing. 4 stars because very little of this is under management's control.
WORST THEATER!! My son's went here last weekend and had the worst experience. Obviously, the bartender didn't know anything because my son ordered a banana daiquiri, and they brought it back on ice and in a martini glass. Then my other son ordered a beer and it tasted old and flat. He sent it back, and they brought him another one that tasted the same and was halfway full. Another problem he had was he ordered popcorn and it practically took forever for him to get it. We will never return here would rather go to the Palladium.
The food and the service were exceptional.
This is by far the best Draft House in San Antonio Texas, I don't mind driving a bit longer to end up in an atmosphere like this! The customer service tops off the rest. My partner and I started with a small meal while we were watching a movie and ended up staying until it almost closed because we couldn't stop eating LOL very delicious! That was very friendly help me look for my lipstick that I lost in the movie theater, and the bartender was very kind
Great restaurant that happens to show movies. The reclining seats are so comfortable and each seat gets their own table.
Chairs were super uncomfortable and the server forgot to place our order halfway thru. And even charged us the wrong drinks. Think I'll just stick to my ole' faithful movie theater closer to home
Parking is a task, but the atmosphere inside the Draft House was pleasant. Employees were very friendly and helpful! Theater was very clean! Just make sure you bring your wallet!
