Great Service, good portions, Fair price. Ryan was friendly host
If you pay by credit card, there is a 3.5% service fee added, which is the highest of any restaurant I know that does this, and is also higher than the transaction fee that credit cards charge businesses. But is the food worth this surcharge? Sadly, no. I ordered the vegetable thali ($25.95 plus tax) to get a varied sampling of their cooking. It is nicely plated but the dishes lacked salt and spice. This blandness is unexpected of Indian food.
Nice low key Indian restaurant in the upper west side. I really liked the onion bhajia and malai kofta. Their cheese naan is good too! I also wouldn’t recommend the paneer makhani as it’s too sweet and not authentic but overall this restaurant is really good for selected dishes! Vegetarian options: Would like to see more vegetarian options on the menu or different options than the current ones! Especially in appetizers and mains
The food was super delicious. My new favorite place
This little hole in the wall place in the UWS is unassuming, but wow is this place great. The food really feels like it was home cooked with love. Highly recommend!
We’ve eaten here twice now and it was great both times! Definitely would recommend.
