Al Masar Lebanese Restaurant

Went here yesterday for lunch. We were sat down straight away but then no-one else came to take our order (even a drinks order) for a full 20 minutes - bearing in mind it was far from busy; just two other tables while three members of staff just stood around moodily ignoring us. They didn't even say anything when we got up and left. Goes to show how much they care about business and customer satisfaction. Do yourself a favour; if you're in the area give it a swerve

Visited yesterday 20th of April 2024 walked in was taken to a table for 2 and sat waiting for over 20 minutes for someone to take our order, didn’t happen place was empty apart from 2 other tables. One women setting tables man and women behind the bar not a care in the world having a chat. We got up and walked out and they still didn’t even acknowledge us.

Don’t recommend this restaurant and they steal money from customers

Completely dishonesty in wording their menu , I paid 71.5 £ for a very tiny amount of mixed grills not enough even to feed a child ( literally 1 shish kofta , 4 pieces of Tawook and 4 pieces of grilled meat) and some appetizers, sweets and 2 coke. They sell it under the name of set menu for 2 persons. When I asked their manager that do you think this is enough amount of mixed grills for 2 adults , he replied it is a sharing meal and he didnot even tried to consider my complaint which was really shocking for me. I never saw a restaurant with only 2 kids chairs , if you have kids make sure they are tall enough before visting the restaurant. On top of all of this, they added service to my bill which is not included in their menu and I refused to pay for it. I DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL , VERY EXPENSIVE AND DISHONEST , THAT'S WHY THEIR MENU IS WITHOUT ANY PICS OR DETAILS. THIS IS CALLED ROBERY.

It was a very bad experience when an amount was added to the bill 14.06£ with two adults and the rest were children who did not have any request from the waiter after ordering the food As a Gratuity I told the waitress that this amount is supposed to be optional for the customer. She told me that if the customers are more than 4 people, it becomes mandatory. I do not recommend it at all, it is organised theft

Amazing food and amazing service. Ahmed has been amazing host and server. Lovedddd the food.

Worst experience Didn’t recommend this Resturant at any cost just taking advantage from tourist over charged us food was just average Customer service is really bad . they deserve 0 stars

The restaurant is only open to steal people’s money because if you have more then four people you need to pay 14 pound’s extra. Over all bad experience.

Not a good food as expected, over charged

My family of six visited yesterday, and we had a wonderful experience. The young waitress who served us was not only attentive but also very friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the enjoyment of our meal. Now onto the food – the shawarma was absolutely fantastic! It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, leaving us wanting more. However, the roasted lamb was decent. While it wasn't as flavorful as we had hoped, it was still a decent dish. Overall, our dining experience was memorable, thanks to the delicious food and the excellent service provided by the waitress. We'll definitely be returning in the future.
