I had no idea what to expect. I usually google a restaurant before going. I'm so glad i did no research. This restaurant IS AMAZING. WOW is the first word when i walked thru the doors. The place is stunning. The service from start to finish was AMAZING. The food did not disappoint. I loved everything. Even something like a pickled pepper(i hate anything pickled and i dont like to eat peppers) and the one of my FAVORITE small bite. I was truly WOW'd. My bartender/server Stefan was amazing. So knowledgeable and the wine(faints from happiness) was everything and more. And then as I have a moment i realize (i googled mid way thru dinner) it has 2 Michelin stars. Well deserved. Also have to mention Danielle was AMAZING. Thank you so much. This place is a MUST...

Al Coro’s atmosphere was very nice and food was extremely good. We enjoyed our experience here other than some of the service that we received. My boyfriend & I went for an anniversary date night and we’re extremely excited for the night. We were well aware of prices since we booked a reservation, obviously we saw the menu. We are a younger couple however I believe it is unfair to judge people on their ages. We were not getting the same service other older couples were getting and it was obvious the waiters were speaking about us. My boyfriend had asked a question about the food and I watch the man go to the back and tell his co workers while they laughed and looked at us. It was extremely upsetting because we were paying customers who both had work in upscale dining places before and were aware this was a big no no. With that being said, the food was good and ambiance. We may try again

The setting is truly awe-inspiring, creating a captivating ambiance that is both subtly dim and incredibly soothing. While I only had the pleasure of enjoying beverages with my friends, our drinks were undeniably delicious. Additionally, I couldn't help but admire the beautifully presented food, which was served in small but perfectly portioned plates. When I have the opportunity to visit NYC again, I will definitely make it a point to return to this remarkable place.

The ambience of this restaurant is like no other: the decor and seating are perfect for a date night. The food was very classic Italian food, and I don’t think there was anything special with the pasta. The bread was actually surprisingly really good because it wasn’t too hard but chewy to the right amount. The dessert was very cool because they had chocolate coated ice cream balls. Service was excellent as well.

The pasta tasting menu and plating of each item at Al Coro was perfection. Amazing wine. Exceptional service. A special and memorable dining experience that exceeded expectations.

Truly an experience I will remember forever. My husband and I enjoyed the pasta tasting with the wine pairing menu. The service, food, and drinks were all too notch. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an unforgettable dining experience.

Wish the food had matched the vibe/service, but for the price, there are better options.

Every single dish was so salty. The octopus pasta dish was laughable. We could not find the octopus until we discovered a sliver of a leg in each of our plates. Plates were attempted to be cleared while I was still eating. My husband’s cocktail was taken away while he stepped away for a smoke. My friend was served a martini in one of those cups used in the airplane for cocktails. Massive amounts of sesame seeds and crumbs from the bread were left all over the table along with empty butter plates and empty beer cans. The time between each course was extremely long and no one ever came by to see how we were doing. To top it off they gave us they gave us the wrong bill and then had to wait around again for them to adjust the charge. No greeting from the host as we were leaving. Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had at any level restaurant. I can’t name one thing that was pleasant. Please let me add that the restroom is so dark that you can’t see your hands when you’re washing or your face in the mirror. I’m nauseous at the amount of money spent here on a completely low grade experience.
