Ordered the bara chirashi don - fresh generous portion of sashimi! Will definitely come back. They also have seasonal daily promo set which is very value for money and various takeaway options

Service could be improved. Food was very very average.

Located on B2 of Plaza Singapura, closer to the entrance to the MRT station, they do both dine in and takeaway Japanese food. They do hot bento boxes as well, similar to what you'll find at Don Don Donki. I ended up taking away a mixed sushi platter, and it was alright. Nothing superb, but it works if you just need a sushi fix like I did.

Was looking at the takeaway sushi and the staff was literally taping the new prices to clear out the stock next to me but she hasnt reached my section yet so i thought she would just give me the discounted price nonetheless, but when she didnt i thought that maybe the ones i chose was not on discount. As i was eating i saw her continuing to paste the new prices, and After finishing i went back to check if the price was different and it was. I mean, must it be i wait for the prices to be pasted then it is counted? She was literally beside me and she couldve let me know or gave me the discounted price knowing she would paste the new prices later but she was purposefully taking her time to paste just to earn that extra dollar from me?

4 pax ordered ordinary set meal and one soft shell crab side dish and the price is $113. The food is one grade higher than food court. It is not even a restaurant and it charges service charge. I will never recommend anyone to eat here. The price is too expensive for the standard. I rather eat in conveyor belt.

We tried the chawanmushi ikura and it was a indeed like a luxurious experience, if not for the paper cup it came in, with its decadent topping of ikura adding a burst of flavor to each spoonful. However, for those less keen on the distinct taste of fish eggs, a fair warning is in order. Despite its casual atmosphere, the service at Aki Sushi and Grill was attentive, ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of enjoyable. Securing a comfortable booth table only added to the coziness of our mealtime. In summary, Aki Sushi and Grill offers a delightful blend of flavor and anime-inspired delights. Whether you're a fan of udon or simply seeking a satisfying meal, this eatery promises a good dining experience if you’re not too fussed about ambience.

One of the best udon place I have eaten! The broth is really good and there is plenty of beef in the soup! There is a good amount of portion of chicken as well for the rice set. Separately, there is a set meal available for the food, which consist of chawanmushi and salad. The green tea are refillable so it was good. Just special shout out to the udon as I love it so much! Hope to try more stuff again in the future!

Great place to dine in/takeaway Japanese Food! They have bento sets and sushis that are outside their store, if not you can order from their menu too! We picked what we want from outside and dine-in, the staff was very patient, friendly, and it really made our day! Kudos to the service staff, y’all are amazing! Although we did not spend much, it did not limit your service standard! Thank you for providing us the best service! Will sure visit again! :)
