Akaya Sushi, Izakaya & Ramen

They should stick to sushi. Their sushi was great, but their ramen was terrible. Tasted like instant noodles with salty flavorless broth. The service was good and I like the atmosphere, but you really should not market yourself as a Japanese Ramen shop and sell ramen of such low quality.

So good! Went here on a Saturday around 6pm, food was delicious, the price was a little expensive however, so be mindful of that when ordering. The server was really nice as well. :)

Bulgogi Bento Box was amazing! Even the Cali rolls were noticeably excellent. I will order this one again for sure. It was SO good. I have to take off one star though as my table mates ordered the salmon bento box, and they were very disappointed as the salmon was overcooked. and the staff was nice to offer to replace, that that order took 15+ minutes and was also cooked incorrect.

My mother in law and I tried this place last night and was pleasantly surprised.Our sushi orders were very good, the service was very good and the prices were reasonable.We definitely will be back.Small neighborhood type vibe.We Like that.

Great waiter, Cool and appealing atmosphere, though a bit uncomfortable with hard flat bench seating and lacking cushions. Some of the food was REALLY good, and some of it REALLY BAD. Sushi was awesome Shrimp tempura over done Overpriced teriyaki bowl was HORRIBLE, tasteless, and had ROTTEN old broccoli. Sent it back but the cook said it wasn't mold, but was the sauce cooked on the broccoli...IT WAS MOLD! Miso soup very good Ramen tasted like MORE MOLD. They got mold there. I'm telling ya! Was a real disappointment.
