I've not eaten at the restaurant...mine was delivered. I got the goat biryani, lamb curry, simosas and plain basmati rice.. Which was awesome by itself. Biryani was delicious and spicy. The lamb curry was super tender and not gamey...I ordered medium everything to test the water...next week I'm ordering everything hot. This place is 10 out of 10.
Been to several indian restaurants before. Love the food. Ahmed restaurant is an excellent place. The buffet is smaller but still hot and very fresh. The naan is amazing. Loved everything that I had; rice, tiki masala, goat curry. This place is awesome and lunch buffet is pretty reasonable (8.95). Going again soon with family. :) Update Dec 2021: Been coming here for close to 10 years now. I love this place. I love the food, and the Naan is always hot and fresh. This place is more than a restaurant, it's part of my life. I'll always love this place, and hope it continues to serve food for a long time. The buffet is now $10.95 and a great deal with all the offerings they have. Update March 2024: This place is amazing. Buffet price is $12.99/person and it has a very good variety. This has been a steady staple in a world of change for me. I have been coming here since sometime in 2011 when I got a $1 off coupon making my (then) $8.95 buffet $7.95 and I have been hooked ever since. Nearly 4 presidential elections, a worldwide pandemic, the aftermath of the great recession, and now exploding growth in florida and this place has been through it all. Thank you Ahmed Indian Buffet for being a beacon of hope and light and consistency in a ever changing world! I will never stop coming here.
Great place for Bangladeshi people. Food was very delicious and very cheap. Also great service. I never eat Indian and Bangladeshi food like that.
I have visited the worest restaurant in Orlando and the customer service was too bad
Very good for something different
Lovely and quiet restaurant. The food was delish and not too spicy.
They automatically add 18% if you have 5 or more in your table. for what if it's a buffet? I don't get it. I spent the same as I would spend on my favorite Indian restaurants which are Woodlands and Aashirwad - incomparable quality and freshness. I was very frustrated. The worst part to me was the Gulab Jamun being cold! too bad !. definitely not going back!
