Careful, bartender might curse at you.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Visiting from NY, beautiful ambiance, but service is horrible. When placing an order for tequila the bar tender said I don’t know how to order tequila and when my friend asked what tequila they have, the bar tender refused to tell and continued to ridicule us. We asked the manager for the guys name and he refused to give us the bar tender’s name even after we discussed the situation. The bar tender didn’t like us and asked him to kick us out. If you see lots of 1 stars I bet it’s because of the same guy - management should really work on that. Badly.

Bartender is rude and manager is even worse. Go there if you want to be humileated

One of the worst bar experiences I’ve had. The bartender refused me service, and incredibly rude staff. If you’re in Austin would 100% not go.

My boyfriend and I love visiting Ah Ding Den for great cocktails, appetizers, and the beautiful ambiance. We sat at the bar on Sunday afternoon and Danny was our bartender. He was kind and knew his cocktails! He made us caipirinha's and queen's park swizzle and they were all fabulous! Order the Goat Cheese Rangoons, but not just 1 order, you'll need 2 because they are that good!

Terrible terrible service. Maybe the worst we’ve ever experienced. Not worth the money, hype, nor your time.

I live in Austin and this beyond my worst experience at a bar here. I was asked if I was pregnant when I was at the bar by a server: 1) I am not pregnant and am not a traditionally fat person. 2) Is Ah Sing Den fat phobic or do they have policies to ask women if they’re pregnant? Either way this is concerning in Texas as a bar that poses itself as inclusive.

Food was delicious but the service was really inattentive and the music/atmosphere was too imposing. It was too loud to hear anyone at our table, and it was only 7pm. Took forever to get any requests made or filled, and constantly waiting around for the staff to come back, which rarely happened. Sometimes the dishes would get dropped off at the end of the table in a rush without a word being said about it.

We visited during SXSW, so that may have affected our service, but overall I was not happy. The food was amazing, but service was extremely slow and it was not busy. Drinks were long empty and food long gone before we were checked on again. Our server "forgot" about us several times. It took 45 minutes from asking for our check until we finally paid. It is probably worth checking out, but make a reservation and don't sit outside.
