Chicken Alfredo was so good
EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL I work in restaurant industry as a restaurant manager w 2 restaurants. I always tip in cash so that servers aren’t taxed and won’t have to document it for taxes. Which leads me to this terrible experience. Hispanic server W glasses was extremely rude. I had $50 cash tip ready for the table. Server kept rushing us to sign and complete bill despite still eating dessert & drinking beers. Waiter took the receipt and I explained to him that we weren’t ready and needed time. He still told me he needed the receipt. Came back and threw the receipt at me and got in my face screaming that tip wasn’t included. I tried explaining to him that I have cash tip for him and yelled and walked away. What’s worst was that I brought my guest here for their birthday. EXTREMELY RUDE. When I asked to speak the manager about the behavior I was told the manager wasn’t around. Mind you he did not behave this way with anyone else.
Seated as soon as we walked in. Waited ten minutes for our server to come over. The food was good, wine options were excellent. It was cozy & quiet which I liked. Need more dessert selections, lava cake was okay.
Service was not great and food wasn’t either. We walked in and were the only other table there. After ordering our food we didn’t get a bread basket or anything, but the table that walked in after us did. We ordered our wine which was on the menu but the server had no idea what wine we were talking about. Our food and apps came out at the same time. The crab cake was good, buratta was fine but our entrees were not great. I ordered short rib ravioli and my friend ordered pesto pasta with shrimp. The short rib ravioli was bland and there was barely any filling in the ravioli. My friends pasta was ok at best, also bland but there was 4 miniature pieces of shrimp ontop definitely not worth it. We had to ask for bread, we had to ask for parmigian cheese (which they brought at the end of our meal) service was not great, food was not great, ambiance was not great all was mediocre at best
Late Valentine's Day post with Kids. This place was perfect. We went around 1 pm. The kids had French fries and linguine with butter. Can'pt really go wrong there. My husband and I had a dozen oysters, I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and he had the steak pasta. Everything was perfect, cooked to the right temperature (medium rare) tender and juicy. The pasta sauce was phenomenal. The ambiance inside was very rustic and woodsy, which we loved. Very clean! The waiter was patient with us and the kids. The best part was meeting Ernesto, the Chef, a true gentleman and made sure our meal was delightful. We will definitely be visiting again.
The food is real good. The desert was delicious. Undercover hidden spot. Only had one issue. Didnt like how the potatoes tasted. Maybe it was the way the made. Please give it a try if you are in the area.
