Arrogant server criticized my party’s drink choices because we didn’t order the house drinks off the menu. We listened to two rounds of sarcastic scoffs and, “okayyy?” while placing orders. We gave in because he made the situation so uncomfortable. His recommended drink was awful. It contained black garlic and too much mezcal. Not sure if this was a prank or experimental … we regretted taking his advice. That was our last round. We got up and left. Will not return. Or if I do, I’ll just have a water. Never had an experience like that before.

I wandered into Afterbar after work downtown and had such a pleasant experience. The cocktails were amazing and the bartenders were super friendly! There was a man behind the bar named E who was cleaning glass ware and noticed I was sitting alone. He came up and made friendly conversation with me - which really made my day better. He shared with me a new cocktail he was working on that was delicious and made me feel like I was important for getting to try something off the menu. I highly recommend this bar for after work drinks and please ask to speak to E when you go in - he really made my experience special!

Super cute vibey place, perfect spot for after work drinks! Amazing craft cocktails. The menu is limited to snacks but you’re able to order from their sister restaurant. Stunning decor!
