African Best Restaurant

you will not find any African food better than what this restaurant serves. The food is fresh ALWAYS, flavorful ALWAYS, hot ALWAYS. If I could give them 10 stars I swear I would !!!

Food is always fabulous. For authentic African, Ghananian/ Liberian food, this is the go-to place. Very yummy. They never disappoint

Food was fresh and restaurant was clean!!

I came here for the first time today. It was dirty and loud inside and took a very, very long time to get a menu. Some of the menu has no prices on it, not always a big deal but boy do I wish I had asked. A nice lady sat with me and we talked about what I might like. She cleaned the table but not very well. It still had sticky stuff on it. She said grilled fish would take too long, so I ordered it fried, and some peanut butter soup. It took 40 minutes to get the food - and I was the only customer inside. The fish was just okay. It didn’t have any flavor on its own. The peanut butter soup was AWFUL, and the real kicker is that they wanted $20 for it! For a bowl of broth with no meat or fish in it! I refused to pay that much but they would only knock it down to $15, and I didn’t have time to argue since I was already late due to how long it took. Plus I had to go find someone to ring me up because no one was around. Sadly I will not be back. They did not seem to care if I had a good experience or not. No way on earth this meal and experience was worth the nearly $50 I paid.

I found this place some months ago and every time I'm in Louisville I stop by, food is ALWAYS GOOD, I've learned to order ahead cause everything is prepared fresh, as it should be.. if people have issues with waiting for fresh food then go somewhere I else. I always do pickup before I get back on the road but I promise you try their food you won't be disappointed...
