Ill be a bit entitled, but… american airline shave this thing where if you are military traveling on orders, you can use their lounge. I actually travel quite a bit (and have other passes to access the lounge), but the one in charlotte has this sign 99% of the time (the one time it didnt have the sign, and i tried to get in with miles id, they tried to turn me away… i have other passes i can use, so i still got in). All the times ive been in, when they have the sign up, the lounge is not even 25% full. So even though AA offers this option (and most of the time i dont have issues at other airports), the one in charlotte always declines military members. Maybe someone in management is against military? You cant possibly say that at 25% capacity, you are too busy to get 2-3 mil folks in? Cant be the AA thing, cause i always get i to one at fll, but once did i get into charlotte one in 4 years traveling this route (and even then they tried to kick me out). Btw, today is tuesday and you can see in the pictures from check in, its not busy.
