Food wise, the meal I ate here was amazing. This was my first Abyssinia dining experience. I would revisit the restaurant to explore their many menu offerings. Ambiance wise, the atmosphere was calming and tranquil. Our server was appropriate. However, since the food is eaten with our hands, a bit of attention in the bathroom would be suggested. Washing up before the meal was not a pleasant or tranquil experience.

First time having Ethiopian and it was amazing! I could probably eat 20 of their sambusas and the lamb in my dish was so tender. My husband is a spice fiend and he said his dish was the perfect balance of spiciness and flavor. My kids were unimpressed with the offerings but that's on us to broaden their culinary horizons better. Anyway. Staff was very kind to us, I was out of my element so their hospitality was much appreciated. Food was filling and so tasty and I definitely see us returning in the future. Thanks!!

I have a busy life and want to eat healthy. Abyssinia is my go to Ethiopian food. Always fresh and delivered quickly. If there are any discrepancies they fix it on the spot. The injera is Teff and you never feel that stuffed feeling, yes I can say it is medicine for the body spirit and soul Vegetarian options: Ethiopian food is 80% vegetarian. It is savory and fresh. Any veggie cooked, from 3 kinds of lentils to chick pee to cabbage and potato to amazing spinach and garlic . Nothing like it

OMGGGG YOU HAVE TO GO HERE . I have been craving Ethiopian food for a very long time. I read so many reviews about having gluten-free injera. I honestly did not believe it until I tried it and the picture was a meat sampler with two veggies on a gluten free injera. We also ordered an appetizer the lentil dish it was gluten-free and it also came with a gluten-free injera. It was so delicious. I took the rest of my injera home to keep in my freezer lol. Just a quick note, I have celiac disease after I went home, the acid was really hurting my stomach because I wasn't used to so much sauces :) but it was so Yummy and it went right away . 5/5 . OH AND OUR SERVER WAS SO SWEET Dietary restrictions: Gluten and celiac

Best Ethiopian around! I drive from Berthoud to Denver just to eat here, it’s worth it. The gluten free injera is awesome too!
