Always a fun spot to cool your heels with a good cocktail. Or one of my favs, the grilled mushrooms and a glass of sherry. No tvs, so you make friends with your neighbors

Kinda rude/weird staff lol. So, there’s tables with staff pouring water and handing out menus, so naturally I thought to ask before just sitting down. So we waited at the front for just a minute, and until someone seemed free, and I asked “hi! do you have a table for 3?” And this girl goes “it’s a BAR” *chuckle* “you can sit anywhere” then just walked away… It was super unnecessary and rude. She could’ve said “you can sit anywhere you’d like!” or just a number of other things. The way she said it was so condescending, like we’ve never been to a bar before? Really don’t know why me asking before sitting necessitated that reaction. Yes it’s a bar… but it’s a bar with seating, food, and servers… Major bummer because I enjoyed the place.

But TODAY, the service was rude and discourteous, excluding Steven Watson, who is a super friendly and dedicated person to providing good service. Perhaps just for him, I would consider returning! Nice upscale-type bar w cool drinks. The cocktails I was interested in were a little on the spendy side for me ($17-18) but they were interesting and tasted good. Happy w the service also.
