Service, food and atmosphere was horrendous. I had to beg for bread, salt/pepper and lemons. It was a sad scene. Halal carts give better service LOL
10’s across the board!! Family-friendly vibe for sure. My sister, my toddler and I dined here and we were greeted at the door by a gentleman of the restaurant who helped us bring in our stroller as it was cold and rainy outside! He was also quick to help us find an area to park the stroller as we sat and ate. The seafood is all fresh. You select which item you want and how you want it cooked. We had grilled shrimp, fried shrimp and calamari, the eggplant, the baba ganoush, scallops and the salad! Everything was all so good! Definitely worth more visits :-) Gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because the place is small, but it’s NY so hey!
Excellent blackened Egyptian fish. So tender. Great fried fish. The Best
The food quality was satisfactory, but the service left much to be desired. The staff exhibited a consistently poor attitude towards all clients, particularly the individual taking orders, who lacked welcoming behavior. Despite our group of four spending over $150, we were only provided with two small pieces of bread. When we requested more, the waiter initially ignored us, and after repeated requests, reluctantly brought two more pieces. Given the substantial food order, bread was essential, yet our requests were continually disregarded. To our surprise, we were charged for the bread upon receiving the check. Additionally, the establishment's small size and lack of cleanliness were notable, and the staff rushed to clear dishes from the table before we had finished our meal.
It's good place, for fresh seafood. Expensive but good food, tide space .
