Food was not great, had Mutton Roast and some special 'Mutton Leg' dish, will never recommend
Had appams with chicken curry and coconut milk. The appams were great. The curry was a little spicy but we balanced it out with the coconut milk. Nice for a quick bite with family.
This food is incredibly delicious. We have tried many dishes here and absolutely have never been disappointed by any of them. They are so kind and even allowed our dog to go inside to sit with us. To her credit, she's super well-behaved and quiet. No one ever knows that she's even there. We drive 2.5 hours specifically to go to this restaurant because we think that highly of the food and the drive is well worth it! Service is also so nice, the crew is very polite and makes us feel comfortable while dining here.
I was skeptical of going to a non-veg restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. The quantity of their veg kothu paratha was great. Thali with halwa was awesome too. Some veg folks were a little vary of fish smell, but I didn't feel anything. Also loved the old popular Tamil songs being played in the background- made it nostalgic. Vegetarian options: Kothu paratha and veg thali are great.
They are giving very small portion of meat and charging 30$ per person, I dont think people will never go second time, dont be too much greedy guys
Ordered Pepper Crab (Nandu Madala Crab), Naan, and plain rice. For appetizer we got fish fry. The crab was yumm. It is spicy and goes well with Naan and rice. If you are into spicy crab this is a must visit place. The ambiance is very peaceful. Last but not the least the service is A+. You rarely get service like this in a typical Indian restaurant. The menu selection is very vast and there is an item of every type. Next time I will try the Appam, which I heard is a 5 star dish.
Next to Apna Bazaar (Apni Mandi), variety of dosas, uttappams, Donne Biryani etc. they don't have basmati rice Biryani though.
