I never thought I can find a restaurant like this, with amazing food, whatever you order, this restaurant never disappointed you. The first time I came to here, just ordered 4 dishes and 2 snacks, authentic Shanghainess food! Plus, the owner obviously kind and gorgeous. I recommended all the snacks and pork definitely!

Dynamite! Great Shanghainese cuisine with many highlights! Pan fried soup dumplings were so nice! Braised fish tail, pork chop over fried rice cakes, and chili scrambled eggs were a great way to start a Sunday! So many more dishes to try, we will surely be back for round two soon.

Update 01/16/2024 we went back to the restaurant a couple more times and tried some other food. I grew to appreciate the Shanghainese home flavors. Although not all of their dishes are exceptional, but we appreciate their effort to maintain the homey Shanghainese flavors. Their soup dumplings are quite decent, nothing to complain about. We liked the Shanghai marinated duck, the sauce is a little bit too much for us, but you can choose to dip less sauce, duck meat is very tender and well seasoned. Pan fried belt fish and the preserved egg and pork wonton soup are also our favorites. —————————————————- Food was mediocre… maybe we didn’t order the right dish. Crabmeat over noodle was okay, nothing special. The bamboo and salted meat soup was pretty good comparing to my experience at another restaurant, but the bamboo shoots are not in season, so the bamboos are literally bamboos, they were woody. Sweet and sour ribs were stewed for way too long, they were really dry, and we didn’t particular appreciate the sauce either. We might try again with different dishes but this is a very average experience.

Food is very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good and other times it is terrible. I ordered the same thing two days apart and the second time it was so watered down I felt like I was drinking water. Told the waitress about it and they did not do anything about it. Go at your own risk.
