Ein schöner Restaurant, Mitarbeiter sehr höflich und nett. Essen war sehr lecker. Wir würden wieder dahin gehen.
Great authentic delicious Turkish cuisine. Highly recommend.
Fantastic Beyti kebab and great service
We’ve had lunch here several times and dinner also over the past couple of years. The location is on an improving block of Geary near Polk. Walking there from the north or Van Ness is fine. From the Covic Center you have a few blocks of not so great along Polk or Larkin. Inside is fine—not fancy but fresh flowers on every table. And great murals on the main walls Turkish owners and staff. A majority of customers are Turkish also. The waitress is very efficient and pleasant. The execution of menu items is great. Mucver (zucchini cakes) are excellent. So is kefta (really good) and doner chicken and lamb. The kunefe (shredded wheat with cheese syrup and pistachios) is the best we have had in the United States (tried in Chicago, LA and many places in SF area) and highly recommended. Heartily endorse this place!
The best doner kebap ever!
I took my friend from France there this evening and we absolutely loved it. The authenticity of their Turkish dishes, their service, friendliness of the staff, the künefe and brewed Turkish black tea were all perfect. We took the Combo grill together with the combo sides since I wanted my friend to taste a bit of as many different dishes as possible. It was more than enough for two people. All were great. The beef and lamb döner and skewers were especially to write home. Ezme turned out to be our favorite. They also serve şalgam which my friend loved a lot. Künefe and pot brewed real Turkish tea were the perfect choices to finish with. Next time I will try some of their oven baked dishes like lahmacun and pides. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Vegetarian options: Most of the pides would be naturally vegetarian. Some sides/appetizers are absolutely vegetarian.
Some of the best Turkish food I have had in San Francisco. Beautiful, amazing atmosphere. Very friendly staff. I got the tomato and cheese pide, absolutely delicious. I ate it at home though as I had the Turkish coffee on location with my friends. Looks like a gorgeous upstairs area as well- this would be a great place to have a wedding reception or other formal gathering. Everything was so delicious! It was such a beautiful experience and I cannot wait to be back!!
