Our first time to Chicago. We were touring the Rookery building. After the tour we were hungry. We started walking towards the Federal Reserve building. Just as we crossed the alley there was this wonderful smell of steak. So we went in and found the restaurant. We shared the Steak and Potatoes with the au poivre sauce. Incredible! The wait staff were very attentive. The chef's passion came through the food. The waitress expressed this passion when explaining the au poivre sauce. Fair price. To finish off the meal we had coffee and cookies. My wife had the Fruity Pebbles cookie. She said it was like Wilma Flintstone had baked it herself. I would come visit you every week if I lived in Chicago. Thank you!
Very small space with cool decor. For lunch got the beet salad and pasta. The salad was good but pasta didn't have enough sauce and clumped together. The servers were friendly but very understaffed during a busy lunch hour. Service was agonizingly slow.
Food really good and service was excellent. They are really only a Lunch spot. There is no dinner menu. I wish they would have mentioned that when we made the reservation. But overall good. Would recommend for lunch.
Had a corporate event there. Had a hard time finding the entrance. Later in the evening it's from a sliding door. Food buffet was fine. Beer was good. Where low on staff, but it didn't bother me.
Happy Hour Scam! They false advertise that they have a happy hour from 2pm. Then you ask to see the happy hour menu and it's non-existent. This place is horrible
Really enjoyed the sliders and fries. Nice atmosphere.
Love this place. Great for business lunch or just to grab some Great food.
