Friendly, prompt service and delicious food!! I will be back often.
The good was good BUT BUT BUT…. . The service was awful, asking anything to the server seem to be confusing, in English out Spanish. I tried ordering an alcoholic drink but the bartender was not there and nobody knew how to mix. Ordered flan.. they were out. Ordered a cortadito….. apparently nobody in the restaurant knew how to work the machine. You are a Cuban restaurant, how do you not have Cuban coffee??????? . It’s a tough time after pandemic so I don’t want to say I don’t recommend this place but dine at your own risk.
I ordered what they recommended as their best. It was so bad that I took it home in a box and threw it out. I hoped my husband would eat it but after trying it, he wouldn't eat it either. They also told us to order a side. They said it came with the order. They then charged extra for them. They seem to only care about the Cuban community. They seem to not want any other groups.
3 stars because the food was good. The service however was not very good and they didn't have Cuban coffee available because the bartender wasn't there and no one else apparently knew how to make it, which doesn't make sense to me in a Cuban restaurant. Also expect to hear music semi loud as it's also a bar on the other side.
The atmosphere and service were great. The restaurant was empty other than our table. I ordered Tamales, it was bad, no pork, just overly cooked fried pork rinds laying on the plate and a few on top of the tamale. Then pickled onions on top, bread was mushie and oily.
This place is amazing! The owner introduced himself amd walked us through the menu. Food was absolutely delicious. What a hidden gem!
The food was great. We went at quiet hours, around 2:30pm on 12/30. So it was slow and made it great and relaxing. The waiter was very nice and got order perfectly. Highly recommend the Yuca fries with sauce.
The owner, Manuel, greeted us and thanked us for coming. Some hits and some misses with the food. Flavor was good all around, but the Bistec a Caballo and Masa de Puerca were a bit over cooked. But the Ropa Vieja was delicious.
Great place to eat and drink
Stumbled upon this place trying to have lunch the Saturday after Thanksgiving and every place seemed to be closed. Unfortunately a few items weren't available to bus due to them not being prepared or ready, but there was zero disappointment once we started eating. The food was absolutely delicious (I highly recommend the Palomilla Steak and the Ropa Vieja, the Bistec A Caballo was also very good) and the mojito hit the spot as well. Music was a tad loud, but they turned it down for us upon request (dad's hearing aid was making it much worse for him than the rest of us) but I wouldn't have minded if they didn't. All in all, a great experience and the food was on point, I would definitely go back if I'm in the area again!
