9 THAI PALACE

The interior is unremarkable, but the service was good, and the prices were good too! What's surprising is how good the food was!! Unfortunately a few things were unavailable from the menu, and they put wayyyyy too much ice in their drinks! But the 4 or 5 dishes we ordered were all very good, just rightly seasoned, and decent sized portions! The food here is MUCH better and tastier than the bland sh-t hole 'Spice Thai' on 7th ave.

Good food Fresh halal food

I don’t write bad reviews unless i had a very BAD experience. First of all everything i requested to order they didn’t have it. It was 2 employees there who look lost and have a major language barrier. I was trying to be polite and patient and give them a chance, but it was getting worse. My husband ordered a beef dish and specifically asked WELL DONE, i asked for cokes with lemon on the side twice, it was disregarded. The beef dish came in and the meat looked RAW, we nicely asked to make sure it’s WELL DONE, the waiter looked confused, so I explained “well done means you have to cook it longer the neat is too raw and pink.” There was no music and no people in the restaurant & you could almost hear the pen drop, so that silence also allowed me to hear the beef dish being microwaved. The other girl brings it out and the meat looks the same and we explain it again about what we asked for: WELL DONE. We asked for the check and said to forget this dish because it wasn’t going to come out right and lost the appetite. The waiter took forever to come with the check and then bills is for items we didn’t eat! As we addressed it to him he shrug his shoulders basically implying “we made it for you now pay for it”. Then we expressed the frustration and explained we did NOT eat what they’re charging us for, then said they have to speak to the owner. This was such a flop, horrible experience. Awkward atmosphere, nothing available on the menu, language barrier, everything was a flop, definitely will not come back, at the end they didn’t refund anything that we didn’t eat. 0 stars

Gross. It's NOT AUTHENTIC THAI. It smelled like Pakistani food.

Not good at all! I don't know what the food was, but it was not Thai! Tasteless and it made me sick!
