800° Carolinas

We were informed from the moment we walked in that the table would be a few minutes; they were spot on! Shishito peppers were sooo delicious, crispy, smoky, yum! Frites were so good. Nice gin and tonic; requested extra Limes and they didn't disappoint! Steak frites was tasty and filling...could have done without the gravy. Broccolini & the lemon caper sauce was awesome!! Will come again! Would love to see more options coming out of that 800°!! Mauro did am excellent job!

Mauro was a wonderful server. We were seated on the nice outdoor patio and he was super patient with us when we asked him to change the space heaters a few times as temperatures changed outside. Food was superb from start to finish. Caesar salad and mac and cheese were surprise favorites.

Don't let the upscale location fool you - this is bland, chain restaurant food at fine dining prices. Lifeless and bland meatloaf on a disgusting bed of purple sweet potatoes, flavorless chopped salad with yesterdays chicken shredded over the top and an oddly sweet margarita that was hardly worth $16. If there was a bright spot, the waiter was friendly and the service was great. Simply nothing here to go back for - add this to the list of "upscale" chains that everyone visits once, and when they run out of first-time diners, they close.
